App Privacy Policy

This policy is for the FreelanceDesk mobile app. The website has its own policy at /privacy/.
LYGENEX Labs ("we", "us", "our") publishes FreelanceDesk (the "App"). This policy explains what data the App handles and how.
1. Summary
FreelanceDesk is local-first: the clients, orders, invoices, payments, and business details you enter are stored only on your device, in a local database. We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or has access to that data. We do not sell your data, and the App contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
2. Information you enter into the App
This includes client names, emails, phone numbers, company names, countries, notes, and photos; your business name, email, phone, address, tax ID, and bank details; orders, invoices, payments, and signatures you create. All of it is stored locally on your device using a local database and local file storage. It is never transmitted to us or to any server we operate.
3. Photos
If you add a client photo or your own business photo/logo, the App uses your device's photo library to let you pick an image, then stores a copy of that image file locally on your device. We never receive a copy.
4. Biometric app lock (optional)
If you enable biometric unlock, your device's operating system handles the fingerprint or face match directly. The App never receives, stores, or has access to your biometric data — only a yes/no result from the operating system. If you set a PIN instead, it is stored on your device as a salted cryptographic hash, not as plain text.
5. Notifications
Payment and deadline reminders are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. We do not operate a push-notification server and do not receive any data through this feature.
6. Backups you create
The App lets you export your data to a file. That file is handed to your device's own share screen, and you choose where it goes (for example, email or a cloud drive you control) — we never receive it, and it is not encrypted, so keep it somewhere private.
7. Subscription and payment
FreelanceDesk offers an optional paid subscription, including a free trial period for eligible new subscribers, billed and processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Google shares with the App only whether your subscription is currently active, so the App can unlock its features; this is governed by Google's own privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
8. What we do not do
We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, other than Google Play Billing as described above, which is required to process your subscription.
9. Data retention and deletion
Because your data lives only on your device, uninstalling the App, or using "Reset All Data" inside Settings, permanently deletes it. We hold no copy to separately delete, since we never received one.
10. Children
FreelanceDesk is a business tool for freelancers and is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect data from, children under 13.
11. Your choices
You control every piece of data in the App directly: edit or delete any client, order, invoice, or payment at any time, and export or fully erase your data from Settings whenever you choose.
12. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and the in-app copy under Settings → Legal.
